Our Leadership Team

The church is currently lead by Benz & Joyce with the help of some elders. Benz works a lecturer in Aviation Industry, and his wife Joyce as an assistant teacher at school. They  have been married for 18 years, and they have  four daughters. The couple is very passionate about saving marriages. They believe that marriage is an institution from God and was made to last forever

The Bible says that the two will become One; Which One? It is not about Meness but Weness

They believe a well discipled individual will make a strong couple; a strong couple will make a strong community/church, and ultimately a strong country

 

Our Role

 

The church is gathering of people in order to learn the Word of God in order to become disciple of Jesus. Jesus spent considerable amount of time in His ministry teaching the Word of God.

The lack of knowledge is dangerous for the life of Christians; that is why we believe strongly in acquiring knowledge, and we place emphasis on the teaching of the Word of God.

 

Our primary role as pastors at Cheerful Heart Ministries is to look after, take care and feed the sheep with the Word. (John…)

Our role also involves delegating the work of the ministry to others, as we continue to disciple them. Discipleship is the natural progression after one has become a believer.

 

As pastors, we make sure that once believers have discovered and developed their gifts, we no longer keep them on the benches, but we provide them with opportunities to use their gifts successfully..

 

Ephesians 4 v 11-13

Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do His work and build up the church, the Body of Christ.

This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.
